A proposal for Telecom Italia, on the site of a 70s office block located in the poignant site of Rome’s EUR for the 1940s world expo, this space in the historic city represented a time of innovation and change - the working environment of the future is imagined to go beyond challenging the conventions of workplace design, but propose a new way of life. An architecture that supports a new need, in a world where we live unconsciously connected, we have a right to escape such a data driven life.
The work campus which includes, working, sleeping, eating and recreation facilities also provides equal if not great attention to the offline time. Where users participate in sensory unwinding experiences as a way of stabilizing their increasingly data driven lifestyles.
